TALENT VS CHARACTER! By Olayiwola Ebenezer Oladehinde “If talent is a building, then character is the foundation it stands on.”   We live in a world today where people seem to celebrate talent even more than character. We celebrate fame, riches, beauty, intelligence and all sorts of abilities with little consideration for character. We celebrate superstars even when it’s evident that they lack right moral values. We honour individuals who acquire wealth via dubious means and use the deployment of talents only as a disguise. We place in high positions, individual with low personal standards and questionable character, lacking integrity and the requirements for such positions. The magnificence of talents can we now say, has robbed character of its rightful place in our world? This might look like an advantage for the talented and those making headway with their talents but unfortunately, it is not. The fact is this: the same world that celebrate, honour, esteem
