We celebrate fame, riches, beauty, intelligence and all sorts of abilities with little consideration for character. We celebrate superstars even when it’s evident that they lack right moral values. We honour individuals who acquire wealth via dubious means and use the deployment of talents only as a disguise. We place in high positions, individual with low personal standards and questionable character, lacking integrity and the requirements for such positions. The magnificence of talents can we now say, has robbed character of its rightful place in our world?
