LET'S GO M.A.D
By Charity Israel

Why people resist change is because of their limited knowledge and lack of ability to see the future. They do not have a picture of the future so they just blend in with the traditions, following things the way it has been.

Change is the only constant thing on earth and we must embrace it in order to live a purposeful life. When we define change as to make or become different, the change I'm talking about is going against the norm, taking a different turn of what used to be. Leaving the tradition and stepping out to create a difference.

You must have heard this a billion times but is pertinent that we keep re- emphasizing this that for you to live a purposeful life, you must stand out and set a standard.

No one successful who has ever achieved purpose lived the ordinary. They all took a bold step to change, to create something new. Now let's talk about how to go M.A.D. We make a difference by changing our life style, our perception, our attitude to create something positive for others to follow.

You don't just change and become meaningless. You change to become productive, useful and relevant to yourself and the society. Yes! Some people make a difference in some ways that are not recognized or acceptable but YOU are called to make a difference positively. To affect your environment, your society and be an influence to generations. Those who make a difference negatively do not stand the test of time but those who make positive difference are celebrated even after their generation.
Think of all the successful people in the world that made a difference in their time:

Nelson Mandela who chose to propagate freedom in South Africa
Steve Jobs maker of Apple laptop withstood all discouragement.
Bill Gates who was seen to be a dullard created the microsoft
Usain Bolt set a world record as the fastest runner.

Shedrack, Meshack, Abednego refused to bow down to a smaller god.
All these people made a difference and were known for their remarkable outstanding impact. That is to say that the world only celebrate people who go M.A.D.

Why people resist change is because of their limited knowledge and lack of ability to see the future. They do not have a picture of the future so they just blend in with the traditions, following things the way it has been.

Let's note that going M.A.D does not mean being in competition, it is about you doing things differently and setting a pace. Let's go M.A.D. The world is waiting....

FROM AN INSECURE HOUSEWIFE TO AN INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATED MAKEUP ARTIST By Love Olaleye As an undergraduate in the university, I engaged in different business like buying and selling clothes, making zobo, just to earn some money to augment the pocket money that never seemed enough. None of these businesses brought me the kind of joy I experienced when I decided to pursue my passion in makeup. First I became a Mary Kay rep; I would sell and show students how to use the products they bought. The joy that beams on their faces was fulfilling, despite the frustration of running after debtors. I remember my first bride who happened to have been my friend who was kind enough to allow me experiment on her face. As I drove out early hours of the morning around 6am, my car brakes suddenly failed, I ran into a tree off the road but God saved me, no scratch, I came out and the car was badly damaged. As the car was being towed home, it was a decisive moment, I had to decide w...
GIVE YOUR TALENT A ROOM FOR GERMINATION AND FRUITING! “I didn't have to stumble and grope stealthily in the darkness, stride recklessly on the rocky paths or swim nonchalantly in the murky waters. Neither did I gamble with the hypothetical cards, nor stroll through life at ease with no aim and subjected to all whims and caprice.” By Olajumoke Hadassah It wasn't a submission to hobby, desires and ambitions! The story of my talent is a reality settled before my existence. It was one predestined from the foundation of the world. Am I a born writer? I think so. But more importantly, I am made, and still in the making. I started writing at a young age. I was an ardent writer of 'story books.' And I finished my first 'complete' book at the age of thirteen. My writing has an history, one which began right in my home. With my Father as a writer, my first experience in the literary world was inside his 'Room-Library'. At a point I felt my ...
