ONE MAJOR WAY OF BEING RESPONSIVE TO YOUR ABILITY

By PRAISE AKOBO

It's possible you may or may not have thought of 'responsibility' as a 'response to ability'.
So, let's roll.
..
..
..
Have you checked, how that, when you were given a task, be it in school, church, office, firm or even that which you gave yourself?
Did you see that, somehow, you felt lackadaisical at first but decided to take the bull by its horn?
Now, the ability to do that was resident within, but came alive when you chose to act, this is why you hear words like UNTIL YOU GET STARTED, YOU CAN NOT START.
..
..
..
I discovered that I understood something's about myself when I was given a responsibility in an N.G.O and accepted it.
Just like you, I hesitated but until today, that has been a major factor in my growth.
My NETWORK grew as well my NET WORTH.
Lets say for instance, you are asked to be part of an Editorial Committee, you finally accepted, then along the line, you discovered that editing came easily, and you are like wow, so I could do this.
The truth is, you discovered that because you responded.
Hence "Responsibility" many times makes us "Respond To An Ability Within".
And it's that response that makes us decide to horn that ability which we have discovered.
Therefore, no responsibility or leadership opportunity is in itself small a thing, any & every form of it can help you release a better version of you.
Yet, respond with caution & according to your purpose for existence, if not a RESPONSE may lead you to a REPOSE.
Share with us your experience on how you got better after accepting a responsibility or that which you gave yourself?
Much Love!

BE FRIENDLY BUT CHOOSE YOUR FRIENDS

In life, we will always need people. God did not create us to be in isolation. I guess that explains why Eve came into existence after the creation of Adam. . . . . As social being, we have an innate desire to connect with people, to experience dynamic relationship with one another. This need is as fundamental as our need for food and water. . . . . . So, my friend, drop that claim that you don't need anybody in life because you do. There is a symbiotic relationship between you and the society in which you live. . . . . . You know what? Solitary can be a terrible thing for human. Hence, everybody needs someone. Truth is, friendship adds to the fullness of life. . . . . .
