THE GREATEST MISTAKE!
By Olapurpose James Asu

“The greatest mistake anyone can ever make in life is to live or die without discovering his or her life’s purpose.”

What is purpose? Purpose is the intention or function of creation. In order words, it is what something or somebody is supposed to achieve.

Everyone on this planet earth has been given a specific assignment. And the greatest mistake anyone can ever make in this life is to live or die without discovering his or her purpose of existence. The discovery of your purpose will enable you to be able to make a difference in life. It will help you to arrive at the pinnacle of affluence. Living in life without discovering your true self and essence of being will incapacitate you from impacting your world fully for God.

It was after Adam had tended and took care of the Garden of Eden that God said it was not good that man should be alone. That was why God created Eve for him; to supplement, help and assist him in the assignment given to him by His Master (God). But it is a pity today that the reverse is the case in our generation. Many are putting the cart before the horse. In order words: the discovery of spouse is what many young ones are seriously seeking not the discovery of purpose. What to do must always come before whom to marry. Discover your God-given work which is your purpose. You can find enjoyment in your job, but the only place where you can find real and lasting fulfillment is in your God-given assignment which is your work?

Hear what Jesus Christ said about His work: “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day, the night is coming when no one can work. My father has been working until now, and I have been working.” John 9:4. Seek first your life’s assignment because in its discovery lies your life’s fulfillment.

Those people that got to zeniths of greatness in their various careers and callings discovered their purpose early enough which helped them to step into such admirable and enviable positions. It is not just about giving birth to your womb your child. When are you going to give birth to your brain child? It is not just about watching television. When are people going to start watching you on the television? Television is a televised vision. That is, bringing people’s vision into an instrument or device whereby you can see what they’ve done in the past or doing at present moment. It is not just about watching AfricaMagic or CNN. Do you know or not that it’s possible for people to watch you on AfricaMagic or CNN? If you can think it, you can do it. Our Lord Jesus Christ discovered His life’s purpose when He was just 12 years old. Check Luke 2: 42-49.

It is not just about Facebooking or been on Facebook 24/7. Maybe you’ve even been awarded as the best Facebooker and you’ve not yet discovered what you’re here to do. When are you going to discover something spectacular for your own life? Mark Zuckerberg became a billionaire when he was just 23 because he discovered a social media known as Facebook. Michael Faraday discovered the Electricity and Thomas Edison discovered the Incandescent Bulb where the Electricity of Faraday was been inserted. When are people going to see something unique coming out of your life?

You must discover God’s ultimate plan and purpose for your life while you’re still young and very strong!

You must discover your purpose before you can become someone of note and repute in your nation and to your generation. You must discover what you’re made and created for. That’s what will make life meaningful for you. Because if you can’t do this that means God has wasted effort in creating you. God is a Creator and you also must create something with your own life as long as you live and breathe. Doing this will make God, your family, nation and generation be so proud of you.

Remember: It is your assignment that will give you fulfillment in life. Don’t make such greatest mistake, discover your purpose. Today is the day because tomorrow may be too late.

FROM AN INSECURE HOUSEWIFE TO AN INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATED MAKEUP ARTIST By Love Olaleye As an undergraduate in the university, I engaged in different business like buying and selling clothes, making zobo, just to earn some money to augment the pocket money that never seemed enough. None of these businesses brought me the kind of joy I experienced when I decided to pursue my passion in makeup. First I became a Mary Kay rep; I would sell and show students how to use the products they bought. The joy that beams on their faces was fulfilling, despite the frustration of running after debtors. I remember my first bride who happened to have been my friend who was kind enough to allow me experiment on her face. As I drove out early hours of the morning around 6am, my car brakes suddenly failed, I ran into a tree off the road but God saved me, no scratch, I came out and the car was badly damaged. As the car was being towed home, it was a decisive moment, I had to decide w...
GIVE YOUR TALENT A ROOM FOR GERMINATION AND FRUITING! “I didn't have to stumble and grope stealthily in the darkness, stride recklessly on the rocky paths or swim nonchalantly in the murky waters. Neither did I gamble with the hypothetical cards, nor stroll through life at ease with no aim and subjected to all whims and caprice.” By Olajumoke Hadassah It wasn't a submission to hobby, desires and ambitions! The story of my talent is a reality settled before my existence. It was one predestined from the foundation of the world. Am I a born writer? I think so. But more importantly, I am made, and still in the making. I started writing at a young age. I was an ardent writer of 'story books.' And I finished my first 'complete' book at the age of thirteen. My writing has an history, one which began right in my home. With my Father as a writer, my first experience in the literary world was inside his 'Room-Library'. At a point I felt my ...
